Demian's Quote

The bird fights its way out of the egg. The egg is the world. Whoever wants to be born must destroy a world. The bird flies to God.

(omission...)

The only duty given to an awakened person was just one: to find oneself, to become firm within oneself, and to walk forward along one's own path, wherever it leads. This realization deeply shook me. And this was exactly the fruit I gained from my experience.
