Bulge Bracket
Bulge bracket is a term referring to large multinational investment banks.[1] These banks mainly serve large corporations, institutional investors, and governments as clients, and there is no explicit definition of which banks are classified as bulge bracket. The name "bulge bracket" originates from the way these banks are listed in financial transaction announcements, such as IPO prospectuses or securities issuance commemorative plaques.
