Beware of Plausible Aphorisms

Looking at Naver news comments, there are always plausible-sounding sayings.

• "A car just needs to be cheap and sturdy."
• "Having used a smartphone for a long time, the best thing is cheap and sturdy."
• "No matter what, omakase or whatever, a warm bowl of gukbap is the best."

Beware of words written as if they contained the truth of life. In many cases, they are mostly nothing but consolations for the morality of the weak. They only want proof that they have lived well today, and chauvinism.
