Kim Sang-wook - Feynman
If there is just one scientific theory at the moment of Earth's destruction, what would it be?
This world is made of atoms.
In the entrance exam, he scored perfect marks in physics and mathematics, but his national language and history grades were so terrible that he was in danger of failing the school. Feynman thought that because natural science is governed by scientific laws, anyone gets the same results.
English (= the national language) is merely a human convention. In the end, it's all memorization, and I think I don't need to spend much time on it.
At the time, physicists in the Physics community centered on Europe were very refined people. Einstein was a violinist, and Heisenberg, who created quantum mechanics, was also a famous pianist. But Feynman was a typical American-style scientist.
Feynman did not like putting on airs. When asked whether to put milk or lemon in his tea, he said he had never drunk tea before and asked for both; the secretary said, "Mr. Feynman, you're good at joking," and he made that a book title.
He strongly disliked the way people ignore what can be known just because they don't know it, saying that refinement is nothing more than a human convention. He hated authority.
