FED Official Trades and Sells Stocks

President Kaplan has argued since last year that the Fed's monetary easing policy is increasing risks in the stock market and that prompt tapering (reduction in bond purchases) should be implemented. While making such remarks, President Kaplan bought and sold more than $1 million in stocks, funds, etc. The main stocks traded included Alphabet, the holding company of Google, and Apple, Amazon, Boeing, and Facebook. Alibaba, General Electric (GE), and Chevron were also included. President Kaplan invested in 22 individual stocks and funds, focusing on blue-chip stocks.
