An index that measures the dollar against six major advanced-economy currencies, checking how high the dollar's value is relative to other key currencies.

Special Drawing Rights includes the yuan, but the dollar index does not.

• Yen 13.6%
• pound 11.9% weight
• Canadian dollar (CAD), 9.1% weight
• Swedish krona (SEK), 4.2% weight
• Swiss franc (CHF), 3.6% weight
